DJ MUGGS (Live and Scratchin’)

DJ Muggs changed rap. His sometimes-psychedelic, sometimes-riotous soundscapes for Cypress Hill and other projects introduced a distinctively dusty sound to the genre over three decades ago. Since breaking through in 1991, the Los Angeles–based producer has also crafted hits for House of Pain (“Jump Around”), Ice Cube (“Check Yo Self”), and others, and released a string of stellar collaborative albums with artists including GZA/The Genius, Sick Jacken, and Planet Asia.

Another feather in Muggs’ artistic cap is his Soul Assassins album series launched in 1997 on which he produces the projects and partners with a wide range of artistic collaborators. The third and latest edition, subtitled Death Valley, features established greats such as Slick Rick, Method Man, and Scarface, as well as more contemporary underground stalwarts including Roc Marciano and Boldy James.

Expect a night of proper Old-School hip hop with lots of scratching.

DJ Brown 13 (MANTECA / SOUL ASSASSINS), is a renowned turntablist on the underground Hip-Hop scene, whose own dedication, hard work and obvious passion for spinning records / manipulating sounds has helped him develop a respectful following.

Bial Hclap, a Mexican producer and DJ, left a significant mark on the hip hop scene in Guadalajara before establishing Handiclap Records in 2005. Notable collaborations include Pato Machete, Capricornio Man (El Gran Silencio), and Dr. Shenka (Panteón Rococó). His influence extends globally, performing at events like Circulart (Colombia), MAPAS (Spain), SXSW (USA), and Carnival of Cultures (Germany) alongside artists like Chico Trujillo and Mon Laferte. Recognized for remixing and producing in hip hop, neo cumbia, and global bass, Bial Hclap has created official remixes for artists like Los Mirlos, Fidel Nadal, Morodo and Celso Piña, with his work released by labels such as Buddah Bar (France) and Worldwide Records (Mexico).

Do25inco is a rapper from Naucalpan, Mexico, started his artistic career inspired by Sonidero culture and hip-hop tapes. At 12, he was writing poetry and songs, promoting his music through graffiti, rap, and parties. After touring Latin America and releasing “Wake Up”, he performed in Europe and settled in Berlin, founding “Barrio Archives” and “Tacos mit Cumbia”, blending Latin sounds with Berlin’s club culture, tackling social issues and showing solidarity with migrant communities.

Quintero MC is a Mexican rapper who talks in his songs about foreigners, immigrants and what it’s like to live in another country outside of your homeland. He gives his perspective on the Germany and tries to understand cultures and countries.
