Der junge Anthony Soprano wächst in einer der turbulentesten Phasen in der Geschichte Newarks auf. Er ist gerade erst ein junger Mann, als rivalisierende Gangster beginnen, die Vorherrschaft des mächtigen DiMeo-Verbrecherclans infrage zu stellen. Zugleich erschüttern heftige Rassenkonflikte die Stadt. Mittendrin in diesen Zeiten des Wandels: Anthonys geliebter Onkel Dickie Moltisanti, der damit zu kämpfen hat, seine beruflichen und privaten Verpflichtungen miteinander in Einklang zu bringen. Dickies Einfluss auf seinen Neffen ist es schließlich, der aus dem unbedarften Teenager den übermächtigen Mafiaboss macht, den wir später kennenlernen werden: Tony Soprano.
Smart City | DB möchte Bahnhöfe schöner machen, damit sie zu echten Bezugspunkten zwischen Zuhause und Arbeit werden. Und hier auf dem Stuttgarter Platz, an deinem Bahnhof Charlottenburg, fangen sie damit an. Young Anthony Soprano is growing up in one of the most tumultuous eras in Newark’s history, becoming a man just as rival gangsters begin to rise up and challenge the all-powerful DiMeo crime family’s hold over the increasingly race-torn city. Caught up in the changing times is the uncle he idolizes, Dickie Moltisanti, who struggles to manage both his professional and personal responsibilities–and whose influence over his impressionable nephew will help make the teenager into the all-powerful mob boss we’ll later come to know: Tony Soprano.
Smart City | DB wants to make stations more beautiful so that they become real points of reference between home and work. And here on Stuttgarter Platz, at your Charlottenburg station, they’re starting to do just that.
