Mobile Kino, together with MUBI and Babylon Berlin, are showing CRYPTOZOO,  a dazzling animated fantasy from visionary filmmakers Jane Samborski and Dash Shaw.

Set in a world inhabited by both humans and rare mythical creatures known as “Cryptids”, it follows Cryptozookeeper Lauren as she attempts to track down an elusive, dream-eating beast and bring it to safety before it is captured by the military. Featuring vocal performances from Lake Bell (In a World), Michael Cera (Juno), Zoe Kazan (Ruby Sparks) and Grace Zabriskie (Twin Peaks), Samborski and Shaw’s wondrous second feature blends awe-inspiring visuals with an unbridled imagination that makes for a truly unique cinematic experience.
